Posture Perfect Pilates was established in 2000 by Carina Bayley. The studio is custom-built fully equipped for Mat Classes, Reformer Classes and Studio Sessions utilising Pilates equipment. Other options include private or duet sessions.
The studio is a hub of excited chatter before and after class when clients meet up with friends. During class everyone concentrates and benefits from the wonderful mind-body connection. We create stimulating and effective classes.
Everyone is welcome in the studio, from beginners to advanced working on both mat and Pilates equipment.
From September 2020 we have introduced strict Covid protocols, some of the studio photos have been changed to show this but not all. The welcome video and terms and conditions will help answer many questions you may have.
Carina Bayley established Posture Perfect Pilates in 2000 after she qualified with Body Control Pilates. Like many of her clients Carina had experienced many different types of exercise programmes and spent years looking for enjoyable and efficient exercise. She is passionate about Pilates and believes a knowledgeable and effective instructor is the best way to inspire clients and make Pilates a way of life.
Carina has worked with leading International Pilates experts and always takes the opportunity to add to her knowledge by regularly attending conferences and workshops in the UK and abroad.

Jane was introduced to Pilates after developing a stress fracture in her pelvis which stopped her obsessive running and gym classes in their tracks. Turning to Pilates to heal she discovered true core strength for the first time.
Jane is an experienced Body Control Pilates Mat and Reformer Instructor. She has also gained qualifications in Bone Health Pilates, Post Natal Pilates and other small pilates equipment courses. Her desire to continue her Pilates education is further demonstrated by attending courses with Lisa B Pilates; Cadillac, Progressive Reformer and Ultimate Mat. Like all of us who are passionate about our work she attends weekly instructor classes to work on her own body and believes everyone can benefit from Pilates regardless of age or personal fitness level.
Outside the studio when she has time, Jane rides her horse. She is married with three children who keep her busy.

We were delighted to add Jo to our Posture Perfect Pilates team in 2019. Jo is an experienced Body Control Pilates Matwork instructor who enjoys combining work with being a busy mother with two young boys.
In the studio, Jo incorporates anatomical cues to encourage clients to broaden their awareness of posture and improve their strength and flexibility. She is able to accommodate mixed abilities and experience so that everyone can benefit and progress. She strongly believes in Pilates because of the positive changes it can bring to physical health and mental wellbeing.
Jo is also a Registered Nutrition Practitioner with a BSc from the University of Westminster and a registered member of the professional bodies BANT and CNHC.
